This WILL Happen Again

A reader pointed out to me that the 'time sequence' that I described in my previous posting WILL happen again in the UK and in Europe. 

I stand corrected. 

I also realized that a similar occurrence will happen again in the US in 2007:

It will occur on Sunday, May 6, 2007,
at two minutes and thirty four seconds after 1:00am,
the time and date will be 01:02:34 05/06/07

So such time sequences are not that rare.  Sorry.

This Will Never Happen Again

I just got an interesting note from someone informing me of something unique that is occuring early tomorrow morning (tonight):

On Wednesday,  April 5, 2006,
at two minutes and three seconds after 1:00 AM,
the time and date will be 01:02:03 04/05/06.

This will NEVER happen again.

Sleep Deficits, Number of Daily Emails Sent and Interruptions

According to the National Sleep Foundation,

"The nation's sleep deficit:  Up to $100 Billion a year of workspace productivity is lost to fatigue."

Ask Yahoo, "How Many Emails Are Sent Each Day?"

"As best as we can figure then, the number of emails sent each day far exceeds 2.25 billion. It may be approaching 62 billion."

University of California at Irvine's study of business people found that:

"We are interrupted once every 11 minutes.  After any interruption, you take 25 minutes to return to your task."
